    Mint-Orange Iced Tea

    • Vegetarian

    Serves: 2


    • Orange slices, for garnish
    • 3 tbsp caster sugar
    • 200ml water
    • 2 tbsp grated orange zest
    • 4 sprigs fresh mint, leaves only, plus extra to garnish
    • 400ml strong, cold tea
    • 200ml orange juice


    1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water and orange zest. Bring to the boil, boil for 5 minutes then remove from the heat.
    2. Add the mint leaves to the hot syrup. Stir, cover, and leave to cool. Combine the tea and orange juice in a jug.
    3. Add the cooled orange-mint syrup and mix well. Chill, then serve with orange slices and mint leaves.
