    If you get out of the wrong side of bed, start your day with the spirit-lifting taste of chocolate.

    Serves: 2

    Ingredients

    • 2 mugfuls of milk
    • 8 heaped tsp Charbonnel et Walker Flaked Hot Chocolate
    • 2 Waitrose Traditional Butter Pain au Chocolat
    • 2 Continental Classics Chocolate Chip Brioche

    Method

    1. Whip up a heavenly hot chocolate by measuring 2 mugfuls of milk into a saucepan, then adding 8 heaped tsp Charbonnel et Walker Flaked Hot Chocolate (£7.99/500g). Whisk over a medium heat until the chocolate is fully dissolved and the mixture thick and frothy. Taste and add more milk or chocolate until you get the desired chocolate kick then pour into 2 mugs.
    2. Meanwhile, open one pack each of Continental Classics Chocolate Chip Brioche (£1.29/six) and Waitrose Traditional Butter Pain au Chocolat (£1.15/two) and heat 4 pastries at 170°C, gas mark 3 until warmed through.
