Making your own chutney is really easy and a great way of using seasonal ingredients.
Makes: about 3 x 500g jars
500g Conference pears
250g Bramley apples
2 red peppers, deseeded
250g dried pitted dates, chopped
25g fine sea salt
500g demerara sugar
350ml essential Waitrose Balsamic Vinegar
