    Penne with broccoli and ricotta

    Ingredients

    375g essential Waitrose fresh penne
    1 essential Waitrose broccoli
    1 tbsp essential Waitrose olive oil
    1 garlic clove, crushed
    1/4 - 1/2 - tsp chilli flakes, depending on preference
    100g essential Waitrose ricotta

    Method

    1. Tip 375g essential Waitrose fresh penne into boiling water. When it returns to the boil, add the broccoli (about 375g), chopped into small florets, and cook until the pasta is al dente.
    2. Meanwhile, mix the olive oil, garlic clove, chilli flakes and ricotta in a bowl.
    3. Drain the pasta and broccoli, reserving 2 tbsp of the cooking liquid. Return to the pan over a low heat, then add the ricotta mixture and the cooking liquid, stirring until well combined. Season and serve.
