    Rye Bread Stacks with Salami Twists

    This quick and easy recipe features delicious German salami sausages.

    • Preparation time: 30 minutes
    • Total time: 30 minutes 30 minutes

    Serves: 6 - 8


    • 4 slices Schneider Brot German Bread (Rye, Sonnenblumen or Vollkorn varieties), each cut into 6 squares
    • 100g piece Waitrose German Cambozola, cut into 24 thin slices The toppings
    • 12 slices Waitrose German Pepper Salami or Extrawurst or Strong Garlic Sausage, each cut in half
    • 12 Waitrose Baby Plum Tomatoes, halved
    • 12 Waitrose Cornichons, or Gherkins drained and halved lengthways
    • 24 Waitrose Cocktail Onions, drained


    1. Cover each square of rye bread with a slice of Cambozola cheese.
    2. Top with half a slice of salami or sausage folded in half, secure with a cocktail stick, then dress with tomatoes, cornichons and cocktail onions as desired.
    3. Arrange on a serving platter with Waitrose Aromatic Herb Salad.
