    Sausages in Wine-Maker's Sauce

    Ingredients

    • 6 pork and herb sausages
    • Beaujolais (roughly 400ml)
    • Butter

    Method

    1. Prick 6 pork and herb sausages with a fork and place in a small roasting pan. Add Beaujolais to come half-way up the sausages - roughly 400ml. Dot the sausages with a little butter. Cook at 200°C, gas mark 6 for 1 hour, basting often. Serve on a bed of mashed potatoes mixed with parsley butter, with roasted red onion.
