    Savoy Cabbage, Chestnuts and Bacon with Monkfish

    Serves: 4

    Ingredients

    • 4 lightly pan-fried monkfish
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • 200g Waitrose Danish Smoked Bacon Lardons
    • 250g cooked chestnuts
    • 1 savoy cabbage
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Nutmeg

    Method

    1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large frying pan and cook 200g pack Waitrose Danish Smoked Bacon Lardons until golden brown and crisp.
    2. Peel and roughly chop 250g cooked chestnuts and stir for 1 minute then add 1 shredded savoy cabbage and stir-fry until just tender. Season with salt and pepper and a little freshly grated nutmeg. Serve immediately with lightly pan-fried monkfish.
