Seriously Chocolatey "A shot of chocolate" (this is a possible brand concept I am working on )

This is a rich dark chocolate mousse using your "Continental" plain chocolate as the primary ingredient. Package in the same size box as the existing 2 Pots au chocolat, but with 4 shot size portions.

What makes it the ultimate summer Seriously From Waitrose dessert?

I have taste tested this with a group of friends who thought it superior to the "Pots". We are being told that dark chocolate is good for us and here it is. I am developing a range of products which heavily feature your Continental chocolate which I am currently selling to friends to raise money for the MS Trust - just passed my first £1,000.

    • Definitely for adults.

      1 x 200g Waitrose Continental plain chocolate
      4 large free range eggs
      a knob of butter
      a tablespoon of rum
      topped off with grated chocolate

I would expect this to do at the very least 8 portions though I have not tested it out for volume so it may do many more.

    1. I cannot claim this as an original recipe (but I suspect few really are), but I have refined it after seeing something very similar 35 years ago. Separate the eggs and whisk the egg white until firm. Melt the chocolate and then add the butter, rum and egg yolks. Fold in the egg whites and then pour/spoon into the shot glasses. Top with a layer of grated chocolate and leave in the fridge. This desert can be frozen and then defrosted later for use.
