    Delicious almond/chocolate Pudding

    What makes it the ultimate summer Seriously From Waitrose dessert?

    This is seriously yummy and can be served with summer fruit on the side. Danish marzipan is preferable (Anton Berg)


    • Butter & flour (for preparing the tin)
      400g good quality white marzipan - chilled
      4 medium eggs
      50ml freshly squeezed orange juice
      100g good quality dark chocolate, chilled (Charbonell & Walker Grated)

      Fresh strawberries or rasberries if wanted


    1. Prepare a 20cm sponge cake tin, lightly greasing it with softened butter, dusting with flour, then lining the base with grease-proof paper. Grate the marcipan, mix it in a blender with the eggs & orange juice to a fluffy consistency. Put the mixture into prepared tin and bake in at 160o for 50 min till firm & golden. Leave for a minute & turn out on a plate. Peel off paper & leave the cake bottom side up, grate the chocolate over it while warm. The chocolate will melt into the surface. Cool.
