    Seriously Chocolatey shruffle

    A shortbread base with a chocolate truffle topping, hence the name shruffle. A smooth, creamy, chocolatly topping with a sweet crunchy base. Sprinkled with white chocolate curles or fresh berries to finish.

    What makes it the ultimate summer Seriously From Waitrose dessert?

    This is a simple, yummy dessert that everyone will love! It is sweet, and chocolatly, and can be fruity too. The shortbread sets off the truffle, making this the perfect dessert. Sweet, but not too sweet. Seriously good :D

    Ingredients

    • For the shortbread:
      butter
      icing sugar
      cornflour
      flour

      For the truffle:
      milk chocolate
      cream

      Topping:
      white chocolate curls or fresh berries

    Method

    1. make and bake the shortbread. While cooling make the truffle mixture. When shortbread is cool pour the truffle over the shortbread and place in the fridge to set. When set add the topping.
