    Seriously Creamy Light as a Cloud

    A trio of puff pastry rounds sandwiched with strawberries and cream and topped with lemon icing and toasted almonds.

    What makes it the ultimate summer Seriously From Waitrose dessert?

    Strawberries for sweetness, lemon for zest and light crispy pastry - all good on a hot day!

    Ingredients

    • Ready rolled puff pastry sheets
      Whipping Cream
      Strawberries or any other soft fruit.
      Icing sugar
      Lemon Juice
      Almond pieces

    Method

    1. Cut 3 circles of puff pastry and cook. Whip cream. Layer pastry with cream and sliced strawberries leaving top bare. Mix icing sugar with lemon juice and pour over top layer of pastry so that it drizzles down the sides. Top with whole strawberries and toasted almond flakes.
