    Seriously Fruity Blackcurrant Creme Brulee

    A tasty combination of tart blackcurrants ( with a special touch) with whipped cream and crunchy caramel topping

    What makes it the ultimate summer Seriously From Waitrose dessert?

    Delicious contrast of sharp blackcurrants, boozy juice, luscious cream and crisp caramel on top


    • blackcurrants
      Sugar to taste and for sprinkinng on top
      Creme cassis
      Double cream


    1. Spread blackcurrants ( fresh or frozen ) in an ovenproof dish. Add sugar to taste and drizzle some creme cassis over the fruit, Beat the cream till stiff and spread over fruit. Heat grill till really hot. Sprinkle good amount of suage on cream and put under grill under it starts to brown. Leave for a short time for browned sugar to crisp up then serve
