Seriously Fruity Canadian Maple Red Apple Tart

Buttery pastry case filled with Canadian maple syrup, sliced red apples and topped with chopped pecans. Serve warm or chilled. (It will look particularly fantastic because the red skin from the apple slices will be left on.)

What makes it the ultimate summer Seriously From Waitrose dessert?

A beautiful Canadian-inspired dessert with the bright red skin from the apples evoking images of the maple leaves on a warm summer evening.

    • Sweet shortcrust pastry
      Maple syrup
Red Apples (such as red delicious or jazz apples, sliced thinly, skin left on)
      Brown sugar
      Vanilla Extract
      Chopped pecans
