    What makes it the ultimate summer Seriously From Waitrose dessert?

    It is so wonderful and delicious that you can't just stop munching them

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup soft butter
      1/2 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
      1 teaspoon vanilla
      2 1/4 cups sifted flour
      1/4 teaspoon salt
      3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
      Confectioners' sugar

    Method

    1. Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Sift together flour and salt and stir into butter mixture. Stir in nuts. Chill dough. Roll in 1-inch balls. Place about 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in a hot oven (400°F.) about 10 to 12 minutes, until set but not browned. While still warm roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again before serving.
