Signature Spiced mulled wine

1 orange, thickly sliced
1 lemon, thickly sliced
Waitrose Signature Spice Mulling Mixture
750ml bottle red wine such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz or Merlot
4 tbsp soft brown sugar
3 tbsp Cointreau
1. Place the orange and lemon slices with the Signature Spice Mulling mixture into a saucepan with all the other ingredients. Heat over a very low heat for 15 minutes. Don’t boil or you will lose all the alcohol.
2. Take off the heat and set aside for 30 minutes to infuse. Reheat gently then ladle the wine into heatproof glasses.
