    Grilled Sugar and Spice Grapefruit

    Serves: 2 - 4

    Ingredients

    • Breakfast In A Glass
    • 2 white florida grapefruit
    • 1 ruby red grapefruit
    • 1 chopped ripe banana
    • 150ml natural low fat yoghurt
    • 1 tbsp clear honey
    • 2 tbsp porridge oats
    • Perfect weekend breakfast
    • 2 Florida grapefruit
    • 1 tsp demerara sugar
    • Ground ginger

    Method

    1. Perfect weekend breakfast: Cut 2 Florida Grapefruit in half, then cut down between the segments with a small sharp knife to loosen them. Sprinkle 1 tsp demerara sugar over the cut sides and sprinkle with a light dusting of ground ginger. Place under a hot grill for 4-5 minutes, until the tops are lightly caramelised. Serve warm.
    2. Breakfast in a glass: Place the freshly squeezed juice from 2 white Waitrose Florida Grapefruit, the peeled flesh of 1 ruby red grapefruit, 1 chopped ripe banana, 150ml natural low-fat yogurt, 1 tbsp clear honey and 2 tbsp porridge oats in a blender or food processor. Whizz until smooth, then pour into glasses.
