    Sizzling steak sandwiches

    • Preparation time: 10 minutes
    • Cooking time: 5 minutes
    • Total time: 15 minutes 15 minutes

    Serves: 4

    Ingredients

    2 x 200g Waitrose British beef fillet steak strips.
    2 tsp Bart baharat or Creole spice mix.
    1 yellow pepper, deseeded and cut into strips.
    1 red pepper, deseeded and cut into strips.
    2 large red onions, thinly sliced.
    1 x Sunflower oil spray.
    4 slices Waitrose LOVE Life.
    1 x Heyford bloomer, toasted.
    40g pack Waitrose watercress
    4 tbsp Waitrose reduced fat guacamole.

    Method

    1. Place the steak in a large bowl, add the spice mix and combine well. Add the peppers and onions and stir again.

    2. Lightly spray a large wok or frying pan with oil and heat until smoking. Add the meat and vegetables, and stir-fry over the highest heat for 4-5 minutes, until lightly browned. Spoon the sizzling steak mixture over the toast. Top with a dollop of guacamole, scatter over the watercress and serve hot.
