    Sloe Gin


    • 454g pack Waitrose Sloe Berries
    • 225g sugar
    • 1 litre gin


    1. Prick the berries with a sharp knife and place in a large bowl. Add the sugar and then the gin. Stir to dissolve the sugar and transfer to a 1½ litre sterilized storage jar. Seal.
    2. Shake every day for 1 week and then once a week for 2 months. Strain the sloe gin and put into clean bottles.
