    Stilton Fondue with Walnut Bread and Pears

    • Preparation time: 15 minutes
    • Total time: 15 minutes 15 minutes

    Serves: 10

    Ingredients

    • 150g Stilton, derinded and cubed
    • 125g Mascarpone cheese
    • 2 tbsp vodka
    • To serve
    • 2 pears, cored and sliced
    • ½ loaf walnut bread, sliced into 2cm cubes

    Method

    1. Put the Stilton and Mascarpone in a small saucepan over a very low heat and warm for 5 minutes, stirring, until melted. Stir in the vodka and remove from the heat.
    2. Put the pears and bread in dishes and transfer the Stilton mixture to a warm fondue pan or ceramic dish. Serve with fondue forks or small cocktail sticks so that people can dip the pears and the bread into the cheese.
