    Stir-Fried Sprouts with Chestnuts (for 8)

    • Cooking time: 6 minutes to 8 minutes
    • Total time: 16 minutes to 18 minutes 20 minutes

    Serves: 8


    • 650g Brussels sprouts
    • 2½ tbsp sunflower oil
    • 2½ tbsp water or stock
    • 250g Merchant Gourmet whole chestnuts


    1. Trim the sprouts and cut in half. Heat the oil in a large wok or pan. Stir fry the sprouts for 1-2 minutes.
    2. Add the water or stock and continue cooking for 2 minutes. Halve the chestnuts and add to the pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the sprouts are just tender but still bright green and crunchy. Season well to taste.
