Trompretti with Pine Nuts, Basil and Pecorino

Fresh pasta cooks in just 3 minutes, so all you need to do for an almost instant supper is add a ready-made sauce.

    Serves: 2

    • ½ x 500g bag fresh Waitrose Trompretti pasta
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 170g tub Waitrose Pecorino, Basil and Pine Nut Fresh Dip
    • 25g Ferrari Pecorino Romano, grated
    • 1 tbsp pine nuts, toasted
    • ½ x 20g pack basil

    1. Cook the pasta according to the pack instructions. Drain thoroughly, using a colander, add the olive oil and mix well to prevent sticking.
    2. Place the dip in the pasta pan and warm for 1-2 minutes on a low heat. Return the pasta to the pan and stir well.
    3. Serve in pasta bowls, topped with the grated cheese, the toasted pine nuts and a few torn basil leaves.
