    Tuna with Cucumber, Carrot and Coriander Salad

    Ingredients

    • 1tbsp Blue Dragon Thai Fish Sauce
    • Juice of 1 fresh lime
    • 1tsp Waitrose Golden Caster Sugar
    • 2 carrots, peeled and cut into matchsticks
    • 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and cut into matchsticks
    • 1 bunch fresh coriander, chopped
    • 1tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
    • 1tbsp Golden Fields Rapeseed Oil
    • 4 tuna steaks in hoisin marinade

    Method

    1. Combine the fish sauce, lime juice and sugar to make a dressing. Add the carrot, cucumber and coriander and toss well.
    2. Divide the salad between four plates and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
    3. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan, add the tuna steaks and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning once or twice until thoroughly cooked. Remove from the pan, cut into thick diagonal slices and arrange on top of the salad.
