    Wheaten Bread with Cashel Blue, Celery and Walnuts

    Makes: 12

    Ingredients

    • 4 slices of Rankin Selection Stoneground Irish Wheaten Bread
    • 1 celery stem
    • 100g Cashel Blue cheese
    • Walnuts

    Method

    1. Cut the crusts from 4 slices of Rankin Selection Stoneground Irish Wheaten Bread and cut each into 3. Butter each square. Finely chop 1 stem celery and use to top the squares, then break 100g Cashel Blue cheese into nuggets and add these. Finish each canapé with a walnut half. Serve at room temperature.
