3 Perfect smoothies
Rich Harris makes three quick, easy and wholesome smoothies
Recipe - Serves: 2
2 extra large oranges
½ x 450g pack essential Waitrose Frozen Exotic Fruits
1 tsp Cooks’ Ingredients Frozen Chopped Ginger
1 carrot, peeled (100g)
Juice of ½ lime, plus 2 wedges
1. Using a serrated knife, cut the top and bottom from the oranges. Then, cutting from top to bottom, remove the skin and pith. Hold the fruit over a blender to catch any juice and cut between the membranes to release the segments.
2. Add all the remaining ingredients other than the lime wedges, and blitz until smooth, adding up to 150ml cold water until you’re happy with the consistency. Pour into a glass and serve with the lime wedges on the side.
