Easy-Peasy Pizza with Olives and Roquette
Our organic frozen pizza bases come topped with passata and can be ready in less than 15 minutes.

Ingredients
490g frozen Waitrose Organic Thin and Crispy Italian Stone Baked 2 Pizza Bases with Passata
12 Waitrose Cooks’ Ingredients Cherry Tomatoes in Olive Oil, drained oil reserved
2 tbsp Waitrose Cooks’ Ingredients Sliced Black Olives, drained
60g pack Waitrose Organic Unwashed Roquette
50g Parmigiano Reggiano shavings
Method
- Preheat the oven to 220°C, gas mark 7. Remove a shelf from the oven and place the 2 frozen pizza bases on it. Scatter the drained tomatoes and olives over both bases. Return the shelf to the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the pizzas from the oven and top evenly with the rocket and cheese shavings. Drizzle over a little of the reserved olive oil from the cherry tomatoes and season with plenty of cracked black pepper.
- To serve, make a side salad by combining buffalo mozzarella, torn fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil with the remaining cherry tomatoes.

These Italian-made frozen pizza bases make a great instant supper. Try different toppings, such as artichokes in olive oil, fresh vine tomatoes with mozzarella balls and yellow fin tuna or anchovies.

A juicy red from northern Italy is ideal with pizza.
