Traditional griddle scones made with welsh butter, vostizza currants and mixed spice. Welsh cakes. This recipe dates back to the 1900's to a welsh farmhouse in the Vale of Ffestiniog. Three generations later one of our bakers has passed this recipe on for your enjoyment. They are made from 100% welsh butter sourced from a local farmers co-operative.
