Size and thickness of fish may vary, cook times are given as guidance, please note that larger thicker pieces may take longer to cook.
Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Loosely wrap plaice in parchment or lightly buttered foil and place on a baking tray in centre of oven. (Time 15-18 minutes Oven: 200°C, Fan: 180°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 6)
Microwave ovens vary: refer to handbook Remove all packaging. Place 1 plaice fillet on a microwaveable plate, cover with film. After cooking, leave to stand for 2 minutes. Check that product is hot before serving.
GRILL FROM FROZEN 10-12 minutes Preheat grill to medium heat. Remove all packaging. Place plaice fillets skin side down onto grill pan. Brush flesh with 1tsp of vegetable oil. Turn halfway through cooking. PAN FRY FROM FROZEN: 8- 10 MINUTES Remove all packaging. Preheat 1 dessertspoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Place plaice fillets skin side down into the pan. Turn fillets occasionally during cooking
