Preheat oven. Remove outer packaging. Keep the chicken in the roasting bag. Place in an ovenable dish, in the centre of the oven. Open the roasting bag for the final 10 minutes of the cooking time. Take care when opening the bag as hot steam will escape. Estimated cooking time is indicated on the price weight label on the front of the outer bag. Check that the chicken is fully cooked thoroughly and the juices run clear before serving. Due to the nature of the bacon garnish, the meat may have a light pink colour, underneath the bacon when cooked. However, the meat is perfectly safe to eat. Stand for 10 minutes before carving. (Time 45 mins per kg + 20 mins Oven: 190�C, Fan: 170�C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 5)
Do not reheat once cooled.
