Produced at the Fromagerie Pont-Scorff close to the coast of southern Brittany, this traditional French Camembert bakes to a silky, buttery, molten texture. An indulgent delight, this dish makes a comforting treat for a cosy night in, or a wonderfully simple-to-prepare dinner party starter accompanied by crusty bread and fresh crudités.

1. Pre-heat oven 2. Remove wrapper and replace Camembert in ceramic dish 3. Using a sharp knife score a 4 cm cross in the top of the cheese rind. 4. Place on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven for 15 minutes. 5. Carefully remove from oven, peel back the corners of the rind. 6. Return to the oven for further 15 - 20 minutes 7. Carefully remove from the oven and stir thoroughly before serving. (Time 15 minutes plus 15 -20 minutes Oven: 190°C, Fan: 170°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 5)
