Remove packaging. Place number of oatcakes required into preheated oven between two heat resistant plates, heat through and serve with bacon and eggs.
(750watt Category D example oven)Remove packaging, place 1 oatcake on plate, grate approx 30g of cheese (or use a filling of your choice), scatter on oatcake and roll, cook in a microwave for approx 45 seconds until cheese has melted and allow to stand for approx 2 minutes. Caution! As filling may be very hot. Adjust times according to power of microwave. All appliances vary these are guidelines only.
Place 1 or 2 oatcakes separately under a hot grill. Lightly heat one side, take from grill, turnover, spread cheese (thinly sliced or grated), replace under grill and melt cheese. Roll oatcakes up and serve. You can add fried bacon, sausage or maybe sauce of your choice. Other suggestions, lightly toast both sides and spread butter, syrup, honey etc. Roll oatcake and serve.
Lightly fry one oatcake in butter and serve or roll oatcake with filling of your choice, maybe fruit filling with cream or ice cream.
