Do not reheat once cooled
Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Untie the bouquet garni and place the herbs, garlic cloves and shallots on a baking sheet or in a shallow roasting tin. Add the chicken pieces on top. Cook in the centre of the oven, basting the chicken frequently to achieve a golden colour. Cook thoroughly until the juices run clear and there is no pink meat. (Time 40-45 mins Oven: 200°C, Fan: 180°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 6)
Serving Suggestion: Step 1: Brown the chicken portions in a frying pan for 5-10 minutes. Step 2: Transfer to a casserole dish in a single layer. Add remaining ingredients and 400ml of red wine or stock. Step 3: Oven cook uncovered for approx. 60 minutes until the juices run clear and there is no pink meat.
