Type Temp Medium Rare Electric 180ºC 40 mins 30 mins Fan 160ºC 40 mins 30 mins Gas Gas 4 40 mins 30 mins Preheat oven. Place the meat in a roasting tin. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Leave to rest in a warm place for 10 minutes before carving. Cooks Tip: Seal joint for 3-4 minutes in a hot frying pan, turning occasionally. Then cook as above. ( Oven: 180°C, Fan: 160°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 4)
