Waitrose 1 kit calvert wensleydale
£2.99 (£14.95 per kg)
This cheese is made at the Wensleydale creamery at Hawes in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales with milk from local farms. It is named after Kit Calvert who was instrumental in saving the Wensleydale creamery in 1935 when it faced closure. The cheese is cloth bound and matured for longer, which gives it a more rounded flavour and creamier texture than a younger Wensleydale.
