Oven Cook

From Chilled/Ambient
Heat 1 tbsp oil in frying pan add steak and cook on high heat to seal, turn and seal other side. Transfer to an ovenable tray and roast in the centre of a preheated oven. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Leave to rest in a warm place for 10 minutes before carving. Take extra care when barbecuing. Cook first and barbecue to finish. (Time Rare 15-20 minutes, medium 20-25 minutes, well done 30-35 minutes Oven: 190°C, Fan: 170°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 5)
