The king scallop has a sweet, delicate flavour and meaty but tender texture.
A great favourite with chefs, easy to cook, just pan fry with butter to bring out the rich and sweet flavour.
Approx 18 - 35 Scallops.
Two Scallops per person for a starter or four for a main course.

Size and thickness of shellfish may vary, cook times are given as guidance, please note that larger thicker pieces may take longer to cook.
Remove all packaging. Dry scallops with paper towel. Preheat frying pan with 1 tablespoon (15ml) of olive oil, over a high heat until oil starts smoking. Place king scallops into the pan. Fry for 2½ minutes without moving. Turn scallops onto other side. Reduce to a medium heat. Fry for a further 2½ minutes. (Time 5 minutes)
