Cooking Instructions

Cook thoroughly until the juices run clear and there is no pink meat. Cool left overs to room temperature, refrigerate within 2 hours, consume within 2 days.

Oven Cook

From Chilled/Ambient
As appliances can vary, we recommend you check the running temperature of your oven with an oven thermometer before cooking your turkey, as these cooking guidelines are based on a known oven temperature. Preheat oven. Remove turkey from outer box. Remove film. Remove stuffing skewers, place on a plate and store in fridge until required. Place foil tray containing the turkey on to a baking tray and move the butter disc to on top of the crown for cooking. Cover loosely with foil. Cook in centre of oven for 2 hours, basting frequently. Remove the foil, baste the turkey with the cooking juices and cook for a further 40 minutes and until the juices run clear and there is no pink meat. Remove from the oven cover with foil and rest for 30 minutes. Whilst turkey is resting, remove stuffing skewers from the fridge. For best results pan fry before transferring to the oven. Preheat a non-stick frying pan for 2 minutes, add stuffing skewers and pan fry for approximately 5 minutes on a medium to high heat turning frequently until coloured on all sides. Remove from pan and place on a baking sheet and cook in the oven 180�C /160 �C /Gas 4 for 12-15 minutes until thoroughly cooked. Alternatively to oven cook increase the oven temp to 200�C/180�C/Gas 6. Place the stuffing skewers on a non-stick baking sheet and cook for 20-25 mins until thoroughly cooked. Remove the rosemary sprig before serving. (Time 2 hours 40 mins Oven: 180�C, Fan: 160�C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 4)
