Oven Cooking Instructions: Gas 6, Electric 200ºC, Fan 180ºC Rare: 8-10 minutes Medium: 12-14 minutes Well Done: 16-18 minutes Preheat oven. Heat 1 tbsp oil in frying pan on high heat. Add steak and seal for approximately 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to an ovenable tray and place in the centre of a preheated oven. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Due to the natural variability in the thickness of the meat, the cooking instructions provided are a base guide. For thicker steaks of similar weight, additional cooking time may be required. Once removed from the oven, cover with kitchen foil and allow to rest prior to slicing. ( Oven: 200°C, Fan: 180°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 6)
