Organic. Wine of the Year Competition UK Vineyards Association - Silver. English regional wine made from organically grown grapes.Quions Organic Vineyard is planted on Cotswold limestone near the old town of Bradford on Avon. Grapes have been gown here since Roma times and the mosaic shown on the label was discovered nearby. The grapes from Quoins Organic Vineyard have been produced under Soil Association certification. The use of fertilizer, herbicides and pesticides is restricted in the vineyard as is the use of additives in the winery resulting in a low sulphite wine. This is a single variety wine made from the Orion grape. It has a pale lemon colour with notes of exotic fruit. The wine's gently grassy and herbaceous tones go well with cheese or white meats.
