Copper distilled in London. London dry gin. Sipsmith? Why 'Sipsmith'? Well, much the same way wordsmiths love to create all things wordical, we love to create all things sippical. Like gin. We hand craft our spirits in tiny batches of around two hundred bottles, with skill, care and an almost fetishistical love. First we distill English barley spirit with ten carefully selected botanicals in our copper still, which is, and we're a little overexcited about this, the first such still to launch in London since 1820. Then we blend it with the exceptionally pure water of Lydwell Spring, the source of the Thames. The result is a London Dry Gin that is smooth, full of character and exploding with flavour. Sipsmith: where old meets new and the two hit it off really quite spectacularly.
