For best results grill from frozen. Size and thickness of fish may vary, cook times are given as guidance, please note that larger thicker pieces may take longer to cook. Check that food is piping hot, if not, heat for a further brief period. Do not reheat once cooled. Preparation: Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw fish.
Gas 5, 190�C, Fan 170�C - 20-22 mins.Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place 2 sardine cutlets in a foil parcel with a knob of butter and leave open. Place parcel on a baking tray in centre of oven.
Medium heat - 6-8 mins.Preheat grill to medium heat. Remove all packaging. Place sardines skin side down onto grill pan. Brush flesh with 1 tsp of vegetable oil Turn halfway through cooking.
Medium heat - 4-5 mins.Remove all packaging. Heat 1 tsp of vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the sardines skin side down into the pan. Pan fry over a medium heat turning halfway through cooking.
