Preparation & Storage
- It's an extremely versatile dish and absolutely delicious. For a wonderfully simple meal, just add a knob of butter and a sprinkling of parmesan. Equally, it makes a tasty meal accompaniment with meat or fish and a great alternative to boiled or mashed potatoes.
It's pretty simple really - and very quick! Add the gnocchi to salted, boiling water. When they rise to the surface (approx 1 minute), strain and serve on pre-heated plates or bowls.
This is fresh (chilled) food so keep in the fridge below 5°C and use by the date on the pack or within 48 hours of opening. You can home-freeze but best to do so on the day of purchase and use within 3 months. It's absolutely fine (and quick) to cook from frozen - just allow a further 1 minute cooking time - but please don't re-freeze.…We've packaged our delicious gnocchi in a special protective atmosphere to keep it fresher, longer.
