Preparation & Storage
- Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw fish.
Size and thickness of fish may vary, cook times are given as guidance, please note that larger thicker pieces may take longer to cook.
For best results grill from frozen.
GRILL FROM FROZEN 10-14 minutes Preheat grill. Remove all packaging. Place mackerel on lightly greased foil before placing under a medium grill. Turn halfway through cooking. Heat until thoroughly cooked. PAN FRY FROM FROZEN 10-12 minutes Remove all packaging. Heat 1 tsp of vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the frozen mackerel fillets skin side down into the pan. Cook over a medium heat turning halfway through cooking. Serve immediately. Do not reheat once cooled
KEEP FROZEN 3/4 stars- Until 'Best Before' Date 2 stars- Up to 1 month 1 star- Up to 1 week For best before end date see back of pack. To defrost: Place the fillet on a plate and cover. Defrost fully in a refrigerator. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. Do not refreeze. Cooking times should be reduced if the product is defrosted.
