Over-dosing with fertiliser can damage your lawn. Contains iron which is essential for healthy grass growth, but which can under rare circumstances stain grass leaves black if granules stick to them. If this occurs, the grass is not damaged, and subsequent mowing will remove the stained leaves as they grow out.Keep off skin.
