- For the perfect evening meal...Try accompanying these delicious Thai Crusted Basa fillets with steamed jasmine rice mixed with crisp spring onions and a refreshing cucumber, ginger, red chilli and coriander salad.Enjoy with a well chilled Bordeaux Roséor an ice cold Thai beer.Get cooking...Bring a large pan of water to the boil&stir in the rice. Return to the boil, cover&simmer for 10 minutes, then drain, fluff&sprinkle with chopped red chilli and sliced spring onions.Peel the cucumber in long ribbons discarding the watery core, sprinkle grated ginger&chopped red chilli on top and a handful of chopped coriander.
