Preparation & Storage
- Preparing your Pastry Ensure pastry is thoroughlydefrosted before use. There are 2 pastry sheets in this pack. Defrost each sheets as required. 1. Thaw at room temperature: remove from the carton and the plastic film and leave for 2 1/2 hours. Alternatively, thaw overnight in your fridge, remove from packaging and stand at room temperature for at least 10-15 minutes. For best results, once thawed, use immediately. 2. Unroll the pastry sheet. If your pastry starts to crack on unrolling it is still too cold and should be left to defrost longer. 3. Bake in a preheated oven at 220ºC (200ºC for fan assisted ovens)/Gas Mark 7, or at the temperature required in your recipe. Room Temperature = Ready Allowing your pastry to rest at room temperature before using makes it much more supple and less likely to crack or break when handling. The Finishing Touch is a golden glaze. Brush a little beaten egg over the top of your pastry before baking for a glorious sheen to the finished dish. Unroll and Go! All our pastry sheets are rolled with baking paper which makes it easier for you to handle and you can use it in the oven!

Keep frozen at -18ºC.…Do not refreeze once defrosted.…Once defrosted use within 24 hours.
