Preparation & Storage
- Extracted from the pod of the tamarind tree, this paste is used in Thai and Asian dishes to add a superb sharp and sour flavour. Use instead of lime juice for that authentic 'Thai Taste'. To create tamarind water, simply mix 2 tsp of paste with 100ml of water.
Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 2 months.
