Preparation & Storage
- Adding directly to your dish, each versatile little pot will enrich gravies, pastas or even stir fries, smoothly melting to bring a full and rich taste. Alternatively, dissolving into 500ml of boiling water will make a delicious stock for soups, risottos or casseroles. For a lighter stock, use 750ml water. Spanish Chicken: Pre Time: 15 mins. Cooking Time: 1 hour. Servings: 4. Fry 8 skinless chicken pieces and 50g diced chorizo sausage in 2 tbsps oil until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper. Fry 2 sliced red peppers and 2 crushed cloves garlic in 1 tbsp oil. Stir in 175g brown long grain rice, 1 Knorr Chicken Stock Pot dissolved in 400ml boiling water, 1 glass white wine, 1 tbsp tomato puree and 40g diced sundried tomatoes. Bring to the boil, place chicken on top with 2 tbsps chopped fresh herbs. Cover, simmer very gently for 45-55 mins or until cooked through. Product can crystallize - this is a natural process which doesn't impact on product quality.
Store in a cool, dry place. After opening store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
