The cooking times below are for a 700 watt microwave oven. Adjust cooking time as necessary for a different power microwave. Rinse Edamame in cold water and drain. Place in microwave safe container (Do not add water), cover and cook for the following:To eat it cold; approx 2-3 mins.To eat it warm; approx 6 mins.Drain and season with salt (optional).
Bring 6 cups of water to the boil in a large saucepan.Add Frozen Edamame and 1/2 teaspoon of salt (optional).Return to the boil. Cook for 3 1/2 minutes. Do not cover.Rinse with cold running water to cool.Drain and season with salt (optional).
