Preparation & Storage


  • Preparing the pastry: 1. Take out of the fridge about 20 minutes before using. 2. Roll out the pastry while still cool to your required thickness, on a lightly floured surface. After rolling out, allow to stand for a few minutes before using. 3. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (200°C for fan assisted ovens)/Gas Mark 7, or at the temperature required in your recipe. Recipe Suggestion Easy Asparagus, Goat's Cheese and Parma Ham Puffs Just top pastry with onion chutney, asparagus, goat's cheese & Parma ham and bake until golden All you need... 375g Jus-Rol all butter puff pastry 4 tbsp caramelised onion chutney 12-16 fresh asparagus spears - trimmed 1 individual goat's cheese - crumbled 6 slices Parma ham Olive oil A few basil leaves (optional) It's so easy... Follow pastry preparation instructions. Preheat oven to 220°C (200°C for fan assisted ovens)/Gas Mark 7. 1. Cut the pastry into 4 and roll each 1/4 into a rectangle approx. 18cm x 14cm. 2. Place pastry on a lined baking sheet. Leaving a border all around, spread the centres with the onion chutney. 3. Top with the ham, asparagus and cheese and lightly brush the asparagus with olive oil. 4. Bake for 15-18 minutes until pastry is risen and golden, scatter with basil leaves if desired. Enjoy!
