Dell'Ugo fresh pasta basil tagliatelle
5 minutes cook time. Free range egg. Suitable for vegetarians. Delicious free range egg pasta with aromatic chopped basil leaf. We've been making our delicious pasta in the UK since 1929 when a young Luigi Ugo came to London from Italy and began producing fresh pasta by hand to sell to local restaurants. We're still a family business today and continue to make fresh pasta with pride and passion. We honestly believe we make the best quality fresh pasta you can find - take a look at our website for superb recipe ideas and perfect sauce combinations. Preparation & Storage
- It's pretty simple really - and very quick! Allow approximately 100-150g pasta per person. For best results, place the pasta into a large pan of salted boiling water. Bring back to the boil and cook for 4-5 minutes according to taste. Drain thoroughly and serve immediately on pre-heated plates or bowls.Tagliatelle is traditionally eaten with Bolognese and other meaty sauces and that's how we like it as well! Our basil tagliatelle also works wonderfully with lighter sauce which the basil can lift.
This is fresh (chilled) food so keep in the fridge below 5°C and use by the date on the pack or within 48 hours of opening. You can home-freeze but best to do so on the day of purchase and use within 3 months. It's absolutely fine (and quick) to cook from frozen - just allow a further 1 minute cooking time, but please don't re-freeze.
